Laboratory Technician at Phi Life Sciences

Melannie Bachman has eight years of work experience. Melannie began in 2008 as a Laboratory Assistant at the College of Charleston. In 2011, they worked as a Biologist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and as a Laboratory Technician at Hawaii Pacific University. In 2013, they became the Vice President of the Marine Science And Nautical Training Academy-MANTA. In 2016, they were the Manager, Dive Instructor (SSI Freedive & Mermaid, SCUBA SSI AOWI, PADI MSDT), and Marine Scientist at Carolina Dive Locker. In 2017, they completed a Conservation Science Coordinator Internship at the Coral Triangle Center. Melannie currently works as a Laboratory Technician at Phi Life Sciences, beginning in 2021.

Melannie Bachman completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Marine Sciences from Hawaii Pacific University from 2011 to 2013. Melannie obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Zoology with a concentration in Neurobiology/Animal Behavior from Michigan State University from 2003 to 2007.
