Tamas Simon

Tamas Simon is a seasoned software engineering professional with a robust background in quantitative services and financial technology. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer for Quantitative Services at Phi Partners since October 2025, Tamas previously held the title of Vice President in Index Engineering at MSCI Inc. from April 2021 to October 2025. Tamas's extensive experience includes various roles at Morgan Stanley, where responsibilities spanned from Vice President of Finance Technology and Innovation lead to Vice President of Operations Technology and Settlements lead, along with earlier positions as a software engineer at UIQ Technology and IND Group. Tamas holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Miskolc, completed in 2007.
