Following this, they attended Stow College in Glasgow from 1998 to 1999, earning an HNC in Mechanical Engineering. Scott James then pursued an HND in Aeronautical Engineering from James Watt College in Greenock, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Scott furthered their studies by obtaining a Master's Degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University in 2015 and 2016.

In recent years, Scott has continued to enhance their education in the field of business. In 2019 to 2020, they attended the University of Warwick, specifically the Warwick Business School, to pursue a Post Graduate Award (PGA) in Leading Operations and Process Management, focusing on Operations Management and Supervision. In 2020, they also gained valuable knowledge and skills in Business Administration and Management by completing an MBA Essential Online Certificate Course at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
