Trey Arceneaux has a solid work experience in the aviation industry. Trey started their career in 2010 at Era Helicopters as an Aircraft Washer, where they were responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the aircraft. During their time there, Trey developed positive relationships with their supervisor and crew.
In 2014, Trey joined PHI Inc as a Helicopter Mechanic for Bell 407 helicopters. Trey served as a backup for the lead mechanic, ensuring that work was performed correctly and all necessary parts were ordered. Trey also took the initiative to develop the skill of ground running helicopters, making him one of the few team members with that capability.
In 2020, Trey moved to Air Shasta Rotor & Wing, llc as a Fire Support Field Mechanic for B407HP helicopters. Trey was responsible for providing maintenance and support for the firefighting aircraft.
Currently, Trey is working at PHI Inc as a Helicopter Mechanic and Lead B407.
Trey Arceneaux obtained their Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Airframe & Powerplant Maintenance from SOWELA Technical Community College, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition, they hold a Commercial Driver License (CDL) obtained from the Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles in June 2020. Trey also obtained an Airframe, Power Plant, or Repairer License from the Federal Aviation Administration in August 2014.
