Danielle Cruz

Danielle Cruz has extensive experience in the biotechnology and quality control sectors. Currently serving as the PASL Lead and Scientist I at Phigenics since August 2022, Danielle previously worked as a Biochemistry Research Associate at Bioelectronica Corporation and held a position in Quality Assurance Quality Control at Sherwin-Williams, where expertise in raw material and chemical formulation was applied to address product quality issues. Prior roles include analytics lab technician and tissue culture technician positions at MedMen, quality control technician at Elite Spice, and graduate teaching assistantship at the University of Nevada Reno. Danielle also gained research experience as a graduate research assistant in the Plant Biochemistry laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno. Educationally, Danielle holds a BS/MS in Biotechnology with a focus on Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an Associate of Science in Biology from Truckee Meadows Community College.
