Marcus Hall has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Marcus started working as a Re-Entry Academic Instructor at JEVS Human Services in March 2019 and continued until October 2022. During this time, they also served as the Director at Beyond Literacy from September 2016 to October 2022. Before that, Marcus worked as an Instructor for High School Equivalency & Workforce Development at Community Learning Center starting in September 2016. Marcus also held the position of Reentry Month Coordinator Fellow at the City of Philadelphia from December 2018 to June 2019. Marcus is currently the Director of Workforce Operations at Philadelphia Works, Inc. starting in September 2022.
Marcus Hall began their education in 2004 at Morehouse College, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and completed their studies in 2008. In 2010, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education to obtain an Elementary Education Certificate. This program lasted from 2010 to 2011, focusing on Elementary Education and Teaching. In 2012, Marcus attended the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education once again, this time obtaining a Certificate in Education, which they completed in 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Data Analysis at Saint Joseph's University, where they studied from 2013 to 2014.
