Al Kau

Al Kau possesses extensive experience in intellectual property law, with a career spanning over two decades. Kau served as the VP of Intellectual Property at Volcano Corporation from April 2013 to February 2015 and held significant roles at Boston Scientific, including Senior Patent Counsel and Chief Patent Counsel of Neuromodulation from May 2000 to December 2007. Currently, Kau is the Principal IP Counsel at Philips, a position held since February 2015, and previously worked as Senior Patent Counsel at Honeywell from January 1994 to April 2000. Kau's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law.
