Bart Kroon

Bart Kroon is a Senior Scientist at Philips Intellectual Property & Standards (IP&S), focusing on AR/VR video and participating in MPEG Immersive Video standardization. Prior to this role, they worked as a Research Scientist at Philips, where they specialized in glasses-free 3D displays and medical ultrasound. Bart began their career as a Software Engineer at Fast & Fluid Management while pursuing their Bachelor and Master degrees from Technische Universiteit Delft, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.). They also held a PhD researcher position during a collaboration between Delft University of Technology and Philips Research, although they did not complete the degree.
