Bas de Boer

Bas de Boer has a diverse professional background with experience in various roles spanning several industries. Early career positions include part-time jobs as a retail employee, kitchen assistant, delivery personnel, and order picker at Diversen from February 2006 to September 2015. Following this, Bas de Boer completed a technical internship in the R&D department at Prolyte Group, and later held an internship at Finn b.v. focused on designing innovative folding skates, utilizing magnets for functionality instead of traditional springs. Bas de Boer pursued a role as a Junior Researcher at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, optimizing front-office processes using LEAN methodologies. Recent positions at Philips included roles as both an Industrial Cost Engineer and a Logistic Engineer. Academically, Bas de Boer earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Hanzehogeschool Groningen, and a Master of Science in Technology and Operations Management with cum laude honors from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, also attending Danmarks Tekniske Universitet.
