Bill Abboud

Bill Abboud is the Head of Ultrasound Engineering at Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices, where they oversee the global Signal and Image Processing team, as well as the Hardware Engineering and Transducers teams in the development of Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) systems. With extensive experience in engineering, research, quality, and regulatory compliance, Bill previously held leadership roles at companies such as Fischer Imaging, Siemens Medical Solutions, and Stereotaxis, where they successfully led teams in developing innovative medical technologies. Bill's educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California, Riverside.
