Carsten Liess

Carsten Liess is the Clinical Science Director for Imaging at Philips Europe, where they direct the European Clinical Science organization and focus on designing and implementing business strategies in healthcare sciences. With a background as a Senior Imaging Research Scientist at AstraZeneca from 2004 to 2010, Carsten has extensive experience in managing stakeholder collaborations and driving innovations in medical imaging. Prior roles at Philips included Head of Clinical Science DACH and the establishment of the Clinical Science organization across Australia, New Zealand, and ASEAN countries. Carsten holds a DPhil in Biomedical Physics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Biomedical Physics & BioEngineering from the University of Aberdeen.
