Celien Jacobs

Validation lead - IGT Cluster R&D Interventional Applications

Celien Jacobs recently completed a PhD in the Orthopaedic Biomechanics group at TU/e, where the focus of their research was on a novel artificial intervertebral disc. Prior to this, Celien earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and conducted a graduation project at LifeTec Group, mechanically characterizing a cervical disc prosthesis. Their experience includes roles at TU/e as a student assistant and administrative employee, as well as internships at organizations such as LifeTec Group and QUT. Currently, Celien is seeking new opportunities to integrate their passion for the human body and technology to enhance healthcare solutions.
