Daniel Updegraft

Daniel Updegraft is a business executive specializing in advising companies on winning contracts funded by International Financial Institutions (IFIs), which approve over $300 billion in projects annually. Currently serving as the Director for International Financial Organizations at Philips, Daniel has extensive experience in sectors including public health, ICT, and renewable energies, with a history of conducting business across Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Africa, South Asia, and Latin America. Prior to this role, Daniel held managerial positions at Development Finance International, Inc., where significant achievements included generating nearly $70 million in revenue under an IFI program and managing high-profile client relationships. Daniel earned a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University and has previous experience with organizations such as the Peace Corps and Grupo Fenix.
