David Landis

David Landis is an experienced professional in quality engineering and design assurance with a career spanning several prominent organizations in the diagnostics and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Head of Design Quality Engineering at Philips since November 2024, David previously held leadership roles at Werfen, where responsibilities included directing Quality Engineering and providing compliance support from April 2020 to November 2024. At Instrumentation Laboratory, David advanced through positions such as Senior Manager and Manager of Design Assurance, emphasizing the development of methods to achieve product quality goals. Earlier experience includes managing product support teams and leading research initiatives at Roche and other companies, complemented by a solid educational background with a Master's degree in Nutrition/Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Food Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
