Ece Ercan, PhD, is currently an MR Clinical Scientist at Philips Healthcare, specializing in advanced MR neuroimaging techniques. Ece earned a PhD in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from Leiden University Medical Center and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from TU Delft. Ece's previous experience includes serving as a Senior Researcher at Leiden University Medical Center, focusing on developing and applying chemical exchange saturation transfer techniques in the human brain, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where Ece researched MRI methods for myelin imaging. Ece has also held various research and programming roles at IBM and Boğaziçi University early in their academic career.
