H Smitt has an extensive background in engineering, particularly in test development and support. Beginning a career at Philips Semiconductors as a Development Support Engineer from May 1996 to May 2002, H Smitt focused on defining and executing tests for silicon wafers and diode products. Following that role, H Smitt served as Lead Test & Verification Engineer at Philips Consumer Lifestyle from September 2002 to May 2013, where responsibilities included defining test strategies and executing test plans. A brief tenure as a Technician at Cordis in May 2002 further added technical testing experience. Since June 2013, H Smitt has worked at Philips as a Metrology Engineer and Test Development Engineer, contributing to the rollout of 3D analysis tools and enhancing the Quality Department through test setup improvements and management.
