Jan Simons is a hardware electronics architect at Philips Healthcare, focusing on RF transmit chain architecting and component interactions. They previously worked as a hardware and software architect at Ericsson, where they contributed to UMTS, Bluetooth, and DECT applications. Jan has also held roles as a senior application engineer at Texas Instruments Netherlands, and as a systems engineer at Astron, working on phased array telescopes. Their career began as a researcher at KPN Research. Jan earned a doctorate in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology.
