Jelte Peter Vink

Jelte Peter Vink, born in Delft, the Netherlands, on April 3, 1984, is currently the Sr. Director of System Development at Philips, leading the Imaging Chain Cluster within the Image Guided Therapy Systems business. They earned a Bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in Computer Science and Engineering, a Master's degree (cum laude) in Embedded Systems, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, where their research focused on machine learning for object recognition. Having joined Philips in 2007, Jelte has held several positions, including Research Scientist and Chief System Architect, contributing significantly to image analysis and processing, and has published and patented notable work in these fields. Additionally, Jelte has enriched the academic community by supervising Master's thesis students and serving as a reviewer for IEEE.
