Joachim Seidel is a seasoned MedTech strategist with over two decades of experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Global Head of Strategy and Business Development for Sleep & Respiratory Care at Philips, Joachim previously founded and led Medsight LLC, where they focused on accelerating growth for early-stage to mid-cap medical device companies. At PAREXEL, Joachim honed their expertise as a Senior Director of Corporate Strategy, successfully formulating strategies to double business size while expanding into high-growth markets. Additionally, Joachim has held key roles at Covidien (Medtronic), where they led significant business development activities, and they actively mentor startups through Techstars, Nucleate, and MassBio. Currently, Joachim is pursuing education at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich.
