Joao Silva

Joao Silva is an experienced professional in sustainability and engineering with a career spanning over 15 years at Philips. Since joining in March 2008, Joao has held multiple leadership roles, including Sustainability Director and Program Director for Circular Economy & Eco-Design. Joao's expertise extends to manufacturing operations, supplier development, and new product introduction, with significant experience managing procurement and process engineering. Prior to Philips, Joao completed a process engineer internship at Philips Consumer Lifestyle. Educational qualifications include a degree from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto and a brief study at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark.
