Joost Roelofs is currently the Head of VAT BNL at Philips, a position held since 2024. Previously, Joost served as a Tax Manager in Indirect Tax at Meijburg & Co from 2018 to 2024 and was a Werkstudent Indirect Tax at Deloitte in 2017. Joost has also contributed to the academic community as a member of the opleidingscommissie Fiscaal Recht at Maastricht University from 2016 to 2018 and served on the board of Stichting FIRST Fiscale Rechtshulp from 2016 to 2017. In addition, Joost is a member of the supervisory board at Stichting Verto GGZ since 2023. Joost obtained a Bachelor of Laws and a Master’s degree in Indirect Taxation from Maastricht University and is currently pursuing a Post Master in Indirect Taxation at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam.
