Joris AH de Groot is currently the Director of Clinical and Medical Affairs for Image Guided Therapy Systems at Philips. They previously held positions as a Clinical Trial Manager and as a Methodologist for the Medical Ethical Committee at UMC Utrecht. Joris obtained a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from Utrecht University, and their research contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the "Professor Frits de Waard Award" and "Best Junior Researcher" by the Netherlands Epidemiological Society. They have also been actively involved in international collaborations focused on improving guidelines for diagnostic research.
