Karel Strasters has extensive experience in research and development within the cardiovascular informatics sector, having worked at Philips since February 1995. Currently serving as the R&D Leader for the Cardiovascular Informatics Business Unit, Karel leads global R&D activities and is a member of the CVI Management Team. Previous roles include leadership positions focused on cardiology informatics product development, software engineering management, and project management across various disciplines. Karel's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Image Processing and Quantitative Image Analysis, as well as a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
