Matthew Voss has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in the areas of superconducting magnet technology for MRI machines. Currently serving as the Director of Architecture and Systems Engineering at Philips since July 2009, Matthew leads a team of 18 design engineers and technicians responsible for the design and development of superconducting magnets. Notably, Matthew was the Project Manager and Lead Designer for the innovative Philips BlueSeal magnet technology, which significantly reduces helium consumption. Prior experience includes internships at General Electric in Transportation, where support was provided for various engine validation tests, and at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on microfluidic biosensor development. Matthew holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
