Matthias Bertram

Matthias Bertram is an experienced innovation leader currently serving as the Head of EU Public & Private Partnerships at Philips, where they support excellence in public-private innovation partnerships. Previously, Matthias held various leadership roles at Philips, including Department Head of Oncology Solutions and Head of Patient Care & Monitoring, focusing on healthcare research and technology advancements. Matthias also conducted fundamental research as a Scientist at the Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft from 1999 to 2003. They are pursuing a Doctorate in Physics at Technische Universität Berlin, complementing their Master’s degree in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin.
