Michel Peeters

Michel Peeters is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leading design teams and managing research projects focused on AI and user experience. Currently serving as a Senior Design Manager at Philips since January 2017, Michel oversees the ‘AI Experiences’ design team, ensuring alignment of AI solutions with human values. Previous roles at Philips include Senior Experience Lead and Associate Design Director, where Michel led design teams and research initiatives. Prior to Philips, Michel held a Product Manager position at TomTom and contributed to academia as a researcher and lecturer at Eindhoven University of Technology, where a Ph.D. was earned in Industrial Design. Michel's background also includes design internships with adidas and Philips Design, underscoring a robust foundation in user-centered design and innovation.
