Mike Qu

Mike Qu is a highly experienced professional in the field of information security and data privacy, currently serving as a Principal Scientist and Project Leader at Philips since March 2015, where responsibilities include leading global projects on cloud security and genome data privacy, as well as ensuring data privacy compliance for products and services. Previously, Mike Qu held similar roles at Philips Lighting, driving standardization efforts in video protection and indoor navigation, and has extensive experience at Philips in various capacities focused on standardizing home networking and digital rights management in China. With a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. in Cryptography from Xidian University, Mike Qu has contributed significantly to both industry and academia throughout a career spanning over two decades.
