Nataraj Kumar

Nataraj Kumar has over three decades of experience in the technology and healthcare sectors, particularly in innovation and research roles at Philips since July 2000, where currently serves as Senior Director and Department Head of Philips Research. Kumar has led various strategic initiatives, including the Digital and Computational Pathology sectors and the Innovation Center for Philips Lighting, focusing on the transition to LED and connected lighting systems. Previous roles include establishing a Global Interoperability and Certification Center for connectivity technologies and managing the development of key consumer electronics products, including digital TVs and DVD changers. Nataraj Kumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
