Prashant Bhadri

Prashant Bhadri Ph.D. is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical engineering and systems development with extensive experience in medical device research and development. Currently serving as Vice President of Research and Development at Fieldpiece Instruments, Prashant previously held key leadership roles at Philips, where significant contributions included scaling a global R&D Systems Engineering group for the Respiratory Care business and establishing a 40-member systems engineering department. At Fresenius Medical Care North America, Prashant played a critical role in developing an innovative Portable Artificial Kidney, while at CareFusion, expertise in systems engineering facilitated the creation of next-generation respiratory care devices. Early career achievements include advancements in ophthalmic technology at the Doheny Eye Institute and securing funding for research initiatives at the University of Cincinnati, where Prashant earned both a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering.
