Ralph Dams is an experienced engineer specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and has been with Philips since December 2008. Currently serving as a MR System Integration Engineer and formerly as an LCE Development Engineer, Ralph is a certified Six Sigma (DMAIC) Black Belt. Prior roles at Philips include RF Coil Verification Engineer and RF Coil Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on the research and development as well as manufacturing engineering of RF transmit / receive coils for MRI. From 2002 to 2008, Ralph worked as a Reticle Designer, involved in the R&D of sensor plate designs for flat panel and digital X-ray detectors. Academically, Ralph holds a BSc in Applied Physics from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and has completed a foundation course in Applied Physics at Eindhoven University of Technology, alongside an Atheneum diploma from Philips van Horne.
