Rick Davidsen is the Senior Development Engineering Manager at Philips Healthcare, where they lead a multidisciplinary team in the development of innovative medical imaging transducers. With over 20 years of experience, Rick has a proven track record in ultrasound transducer technologies, including state-of-the-art Xmatrix development for General Imaging and Cardiology. They hold a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and have been awarded more than 20 patents in related fields. Rick began their career as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Missiles and Space, focusing on electromagnetic compatibility for advanced electro-optical systems. Currently, they are pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
