Roel Boonen

Roel Boonen possesses extensive experience in finance, currently serving as the Head of Finance for the Global Business Unit Diagnostic X-Ray at Philips, overseeing significant P&L responsibilities and driving strategic initiatives. Previously, Boonen held various leadership finance roles at Philips, including global finance directorships in business categories such as Peripheral Vascular and Heart Rhythm Management, and International Markets for Image Guided Therapy. Prior to Philips, Roel Boonen worked in finance and consultancy roles at organizations such as Fin - detachering, NXP Semiconductors, and Essent, with a strong focus on performance management, process optimization, and financial reporting. Academic credentials include an Executive Master of Finance & Control from TIAS School for Business and Society and a Master’s in Controlling from Nyenrode Business University, complemented by a Bachelor in Economics from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven.
