Scott Child

Scott Child is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality and engineering processes within the medical imaging industry. Currently serving as the Director Q&R and Head of Product Quality at Philips since January 2016, Scott Child leads initiatives to enhance product quality across all Ultrasound sites and is an active member of the Ultrasound Q&R leadership team. Previously, Scott Child held roles at Philips HealthCare, including Director of Engineering Processes, where responsibility encompassed design control processes for Philips Imaging Systems, and Manager of Verification & Validation, overseeing the test team for ultrasound devices. Scott Child's career began at OEC Medical Systems and Logicon, where foundational roles as a Software Engineer and V&V Engineer were established. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Mathematics, and Spanish from Weber State University.
