Terien du Plessis

Terien du Plessis is a seasoned finance professional with 14 years of experience in auditing, risk management, and internal controls. They held various positions at PwC South Africa and PwC Nederland, where they managed client portfolios, supervised audits, and contributed to business development. Currently, as the Head of Internal Control at Philips, Terien leads risk management initiatives and audit processes. Previously, they served as a Senior Internal Audit Manager at AkzoNobel, where they developed audit strategies and prepared reports for senior management. Terien holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with Honours from the University of the Free State.
