Michael Cathcart

Michael Cathcart, CFA, CPA, currently serves as Manager of Commercial FP&A at Phillips 66, overseeing a team of approximately 30 professionals across supply and trading businesses in multiple countries. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Director of NGL FP&A, managing a team focused on NGL supply and trading. Before joining Phillips 66, Michael worked at BP as Senior Consultant for Accounting Policy and Derivatives Accounting Manager, where responsibilities included leading risk accounting activities for various commodity contracts. Michael began a career in accounting at KPMG, progressing to Manager of Audit, primarily servicing SEC reporting clients in the oil and gas sector and delivering financial statement audits. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
