Ruben Herrera

Ruben Herrera is a Senior Environmental Engineer at Phillips 66 since April 2023, responsible for ensuring compliance of natural gas and oil pipeline assets with environmental regulations. Prior to this role, Ruben served as a Senior Environmental Specialist at DCP Midstream from February 2016 to March 2023, focusing on regulatory compliance and monitoring improvements. Ruben's career includes significant positions at INVISTA, where as Air Team Leader, technical support and regulatory expertise were provided, and as a Senior Air Engineer, operating facilities' compliance with state and federal regulations was ensured. Earlier experiences include roles at BP North America Gas, overseeing regulatory compliance and air permitting, and at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, providing technical assistance in air quality permitting. Ruben holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
