Phillips Steel Company was founded in 1915 in Long Beach, California by Paul Phillips, the grandfather of current company president, Daryl Phillips, at the corner of Ocean and American Avenues. 

The company is currently run by President Daryl Phillips, who began work at the company under his father. Sara Phillips, fourth generation, COO, joined the company in 2005. Phillips Steel Company is truly a family affair.

Phillips Steel Company has become a one-stop-shop for its customers offering structural steel, industrial supplies & tools and metal fabricating.  Its customers range from refineries and contractors to hobbyists.  The many projects for which Phillips Steel Company has fabricated include refinery turnarounds, bridges, stadiums and more.
