Alexander Damvelt

Alexander Damvelt serves as the Head of Program Development at Royal Philips since April 2019, focusing on the identification and development of intellectual property programs through R&D, IP acquisition, standardization, and collaborations. With a long tenure at Philips Electronics starting in August 2004, Alexander has worked as the General Manager of IP Venture Displays, developing cutting-edge display technologies, and as the Director of IP Licensing, responsible for licensing intellectual property rights and expanding revenues. Previous experience includes management roles at LGPhilips Displays and Philips, where Alexander led business development initiatives and managed support functions for R&D. Alexander holds an MBA from TIAS School for Business and Society and a degree in Technische bedrijfskunde from Eindhoven University of Technology.
