Alexandre Popoff

Alexandre Popoff is currently a Research Scientist in Machine Learning at Philips, focusing on deep learning and image processing for medical ultrasonography applications. They have served as a Board Member (Member-At-Large) for the Society for Mathematics and Computation in Music since 2023. Previously, at Saint-Gobain Recherche, they held multiple roles, including Data Science Team Leader and Project Leader, where they worked on improving thin film deposition processes and data analysis for production and marketing. Alexandre has also shared their knowledge as a lecturer at Palais de la découverte, engaging audiences in scientific presentations. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry and Nanosciences from Université Paris VI and a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from Ecole supérieure de Physique et de Chimie industrielles de la Ville de Paris.
