Daniel Brean

Daniel Brean is an Intellectual Property Attorney and Academic Author with extensive experience in law and teaching. They served as Of Counsel at The Webb Law Firm from 2016 to 2020 and held positions as Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Philips in 2022. Previously, Daniel worked as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Jimmie V. Reyna at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and has taught law at various institutions, including The University of Akron and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Currently, they are the Intellectual Property Expert in Residence at Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. Daniel holds a Juris Doctor in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
