Doug Bardsley

Doug Bardsley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in systems engineering, hardware platforms, and engineering management within the ultrasound sector at Philips since October 2007. As Director of Systems Engineering, Doug leads ultrasound R&D systems test teams globally, while previously holding roles that include overseeing hardware and systems design for all ultrasound products and managing the Specialized Engineering department. Prior to Philips, Doug worked as Design Manager at Virage Logic, where responsibilities included interfacing with customers and coordinating design efforts internationally, as well as designing SRAM memory compilers and low power semiconductor circuits. Doug began a career in semiconductor design at Micron Technology, focusing on NAND and NOR flash memory projects. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
