Eric Staal is currently a Senior Software Designer at Philips, focusing on innovative software solutions in the medical field. Previously, they held positions as a Software Designer at Océ - A Canon Company, where they were responsible for embedded software within the Niagara project, and as a Software Engineer at ASML, developing basic software for their machines. Eric also contributed to the CCM Centre for Concepts in Mechatronics, designing drivers and applications for wafer handlers. They hold a Master’s degree in Electrotechniek from the University of Twente and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
