Gene Scarberry

Gene Scarberry is the president of Spirit Creations and a Senior Staff Engineer at Philips/Respironics, where they have worked since 1983. A graduate of the University of Toledo with a degree in Chemistry, Gene is recognized for developing innovative medical solutions, including the Pharyngeal Tracheal Luminal Airway technology. Throughout their career, they have contributed to the creation and approval of several healthcare technologies, holding over 80 patents aimed at improving treatment for respiratory and sleep disorders. Previously, Gene worked in marketing and sales for Dixie USA and supported marketing efforts at Medtronic.
