Joel Ylismaa

Joel Ylismaa is a Program Director and PMO Lead for MR Premium and Performance Systems at Philips, where they currently oversee advanced program management in MRI R&D. Previously, Joel served in various roles at Philips Healthcare, including Project Manager and Director of Global Advanced Development Program Management. With a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, they have a robust background in technical and project management roles, having worked at Philips for over a decade across multiple positions. Joel also held positions at Marconi Medical Systems and Picker Nordstar, further enhancing their experience in the medical technology field.
