Kala M

Kala M is a design leader with over 18 years of experience in human-centered design and UX excellence, specializing in various sectors including healthcare, IoT platforms, and e-commerce. They have worked as a Senior UX Designer at Philips, where they spearheaded multiple project executions, and previously held significant roles at L-3 Communications and L3Harris Technologies, leading innovative projects and mentoring teams. Kala obtained a Master’s Degree in Software Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, and an Engineer’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Malnad College of Engineering, graduating with distinction. They also served as a UX Designer on a freelance basis and were certified by ImaginXP with a notable capstone project focused on a smart home application.
