Karen Powell is a Lead Design Quality Assurance Engineer at Philips, where they have worked since 2011, focusing on design controls for global new product introduction projects in computed tomography systems. With over twenty-seven years of experience in the medical device industry, they have held various roles in Quality Assurance, including supervising teams and mentoring junior engineers. Karen has a strong background in compliance with FDA and ISO regulations, and has actively contributed to critical projects involving CAPA, risk management, and internal auditing. They hold a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in Management and Technology from Carlow University.
