Martijn Krans is currently the Data & AI Innovation Portfolio Lead and Principal Scientist at Philips, where they manage a team of data and AI scientists focused on enhancing engagement and developing innovative solutions in healthcare. With extensive experience as a Senior Scientist and Principal Scientist at Philips Research, they have led multidisciplinary R&D teams on various projects related to digital engagement, smart sensor solutions, and electronic textiles. Martijn also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Lumalive, driving technology and innovation in light-emitting textiles. They hold a Master's degree in Physics and are currently pursuing a PhD in Physics at Leiden University.
