Matthias Bertram

Matthias Bertram is an experienced innovation leader currently serving as the Head of EU Public & Private Partnerships at Philips, where they support the organization through excellence in public-private innovation partnerships. Previously, they held several leadership positions at Philips, including Department Head for Oncology Solutions and Patient Care & Monitoring, and led research teams in X-ray Imaging Systems. Matthias began their career as a Research Scientist at the Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, focusing on nonlinear dynamics of complex systems. They are currently pursuing a Dr. rer. nat. in Physics at Technische Universität Berlin, building on their Master's degree in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin.
