Megan DeBari

Megan DeBari is a Senior Biological Safety Engineer at Philips and a postdoctoral research fellow in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Carnegie Mellon University. Their research focuses on silk biomaterials for tissue regeneration, the mechanical and biological characterization of human adipose tissue, and the development of a 3D adipose tissue model. Megan earned both a M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and holds dual B.S. degrees in Zoology and Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida. Previously, they have held roles such as Senior Marketing Fellow at the University of Florida Office of Technology Licensing and a research assistant at the University of Florida.
