Peter Skillman

Peter Skillman is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience across prominent technology companies. Currently serving as the Global Head of Design for Philips since December 2021, Peter also holds the title of Chief Design Officer a.i. and Head of Connected Care Design and Enterprise Analytics. Previous roles include Director of Design for AWS UX at Amazon and Director of Design for Outlook and Skype at Microsoft, overseeing teams of up to 90 professionals in various design and research functions. With a strong background in user experience design, Peter has led significant design initiatives at Nokia and Palm, including heading design for HERE and smart devices. Peter holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
